Ms. Selina Rahman, a member of BCS (Audit and Accounts) cadre (21st batch), took over the charge of Chief Accounts and Finance Officer, Ministry of Education on 06 July, 2022. Ms. Selina Rahman joined the Civil Service at 21 BCS (Audit and Accounts) in 2003. She did her BSS (Hons.) and MSS in Public Administration from Dhaka University. She also did her MBA (Finance & Accounting) from University of Information Technology & Science (UITS) in 2019. During her career in civil service Ms. Selina Rahman served in various important positions in the Audit and Accounts Department of Bangladesh including Deputy Director of Foreign Aided Projects Audit Directorate (FAPAD); Deputy Director of Financial Management Academy (FIMA); Assistant Comptroller and Auditor General (Report) and Area Finance Controller (Army),Chittagong. In order to conduct mission audit, Ms. Selina Rahman visited different countries including Malaysia, India, USA, Philippines, Singapore, Sweden, Lebanon, Egypt etc.
